I recently attempted to reach out to Ben, one of the store's owners, using the business card I found by the register.

I called him once and left a voicemail, but got no reply, so I gave it another shot the next day. He picked up and spoke in a fake Chinese accent, then started to put me down until I decided to hang up. The rudeness of that call, along with the emails that followed (since I’ve had many good interactions with him in the store, I was sure it wasn’t really him), plus the outright racism, guarantees that I won’t be returning to this shop.

Super disappointing. I’ve been a loyal customer for years and would recommend them to anyone who’d listen. Sure, waiting for shipping can be a pain, but if it means not supporting someone who mocks accents and disrespects customers, then that’s a no-brainer.

Awesome items! I was really impressed when I received an email from the cofounder letting me know that one of the things I ordered wasn't in stock initially and would be sent out later.

My coat arrived super fast. They gave me tracking details and let me know when it showed up. The coat is in fantastic shape and fits just right.

Shipping was super quick. We snagged the product on sale during BFCM and we really dig it. While others might use it differently, we actually use ours to create tears and bubbles for our dolls.

I made a purchase that was said to have shipped on a Monday. I forked out extra cash for Priority shipping because I needed the stuff by that weekend. By the following Tuesday, the items were still MIA. I reached out for a refund on my shipping fee, but Embellish turned me down, telling me to seek a refund from the Postal Service instead. Since I paid Embellish to get my items to me on time, I believe they should take responsibility. They opted to use USPS. Their lack of accountability and terrible customer service is why I'm leaving this negative review.

I've shopped on different sites for supplies in the past, but I found Embelish FX, and now I get the majority of my FX gear from them. As someone who acts in haunted houses and does their own FX makeup, I can honestly say they have nearly everything I require for my character's makeup all in one spot!

This item is just what I needed! The delivery was super quick, and I’m totally coming back to shop here again! By the way, you’re the ONLY place that had my size. ....lol

This shop is quick and welcoming, even with online purchases! I let them know I needed my order urgently for a college class, and they reached out the next day to inform me it was going out that afternoon. They also followed up with an email about the shipping details. I’ll surely be coming back to this site for more of my theater supplies!
